Jon E Adams has written over twenty children’s books all about morals and values learned through conflict. When asked why he’s published these books now, Jon went on to say –
“Very simply put, there’s too much hatred in the world. I decided to publish these books as a way to teach children to have love, respect, and compassion for one another.”
But that’s not how the story begins.
Jon E Adams was inspired to begin writing after he survived a fight with cancer. The brush with death was a wake-up call. His whole outlook changed. He felt driven to give back to the world and live more purposefully. He started seeing what he could do for others instead of what the world could do for him.
He wanted to give children positive role models, especially since so many children have no one to look up to. So Jon E Adams began to write. Strong, moral characters stormed out of his pen. Bravery and love became a theme.
After his cancer journey, Jon E Adams realized he was in a unique position to go even further with his books. He could help children battling diseases just as he had. He wrote the inspirational story Don’t Give Up to remind these children that they CAN climb this mountain and come out the other side even stronger. Just like he did.

How long does it take Jon E Adams to write his children’s books?
Jon writes his stories very quickly. When he gets a new idea, he sets aside time to pray. He then goes into a deep prayer session with Jesus to clear his mind. Once he’s finished, the story writes itself in about 15 minutes. Jon says that it would definitely take much longer without the help of prayer.
